Hi, I’m Ros and I am an accredited integrative counsellor with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s ups and downs. My experience with young people and adults has covered a wide range of different issues that include dealing with life transitions such as moving country, retirement and going to University. These life transitions affect each of us in different ways. Some suffer from heightened anxiety, others feel a sense of loss and depression. Many have relationship issues.
My life experiences of living in different countries and working for different organisations which include schools, High Commissions, a University, a listening service and a prison, have made me very aware of the challenges individuals face at different stages of their lives. Moving to the next stage is often far from straight forward.
Wherever I have worked I have been passionate about helping others. The most important thing is that my clients feel heard and not judged. I have an empathetic, client-centred approach ensuring that each session is client led. I deeply value creating a safe space for clients to feel secure with their own thoughts, feelings and emotions. Together we’ll work at your pace to explore your concerns and develop strategies to help you move forward.
I am a registered member of the BACP and NCPS and hold a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice and a Master’s degree in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing from the University of Wolverhampton. This is in addition to my EFT, life coach and hypnotherapy qualifications. If it sounds as if I might be able to help, please get in touch to arrange an initial chat
